Lindsey is a Brooklyn-based, Minnesota-born, New-Jersey-raised communicator and creative writer who cut her teeth with eight years of Catholic school grammar.

She was a member of the founding team at Harry’s, joining right after their launch in 2013. She spent the next three years (as they grew from 15 to over 100) on a crash course in brand-building, the world of e-commerce, men’s shaving, and the importance of considered and inclusive design.

She then joined a lean team at the custom-mattress start-up, Helix, charged with helping to define the visual and written identity of the brand. Lindsey led the web and email voice development, managed an intensive social content calendar, art directed multiple product and lifestyle photoshoots, wrote a TV commercial, and produced both print and digital and out-of-home advertising campaigns.

She then spent the next two and a half years as the dedicated writer, editor, and content strategist on Herman Miller’s retail and e-commerce business, working in both digital and print, to help to bring this iconic 110+ year-old brand and their history-making design direct to consumer.

After Herman Miller, Lindsey spent time at Getaway, focusing on COVID-19 communications through a hospitality lens and serving as the a key strategist and copywriter behind their 100 Nights of Rest campaign, launched in response to the death of George Floyd and the call for racial justice around the country.

In addition to her consulting side piece, she’s currently the Brand Director at Thuma, working to bring that feeling of checking-in to your favorite boutique hotel to Indoor Enthusiasts everywhere through thoughtfully minimal, functional, and sophisticated designs for the bedroom.

She’ll talk improv comedy, fiction writing, living in Italy, Survivor, true crime, Central Park’s hot duck, mid-century modern design, New York City, well done burgers, Poodles, her Pomeranian, Eevee, the lost art of the charcuterie board, the great Arizona llama escape of 2015, and the importance of leopard print any time you want.
